One honest hour every day beats a frenzied weekend binge. A short note on why slow, steady language learning wins - and how to build the daily habit.

Every January, students sign up for Sanskrit or German with the energy of a Himalayan trek. By March, half of them have disappeared. Not because the language was too hard - because life got in the way.

Here is the truth: one honest hour a day beats a six-hour weekend binge. Language lives in the brain like a muscle - it needs touching every day, even if only for fifteen minutes.

Build a tiny daily ritual. Morning chai + ten flashcards. A bus ride + one podcast episode. Bedtime + one page read aloud. In six months these tiny rituals will have carried you further than any intensive weekend camp ever did.
