Refund & Cancellation Policy

Fair, transparent and student-friendly.

We want every student to feel confident enrolling. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work at Shrinidhi Language Academy.

1. Service delivery (digital)

Our courses are digital education services. There is no physical product, hence no shipping. Once your payment is received:

  • Your seat in the chosen batch is confirmed by email / WhatsApp within 24 working hours.
  • You receive your batch start date, schedule, joining link (Zoom or Google Meet) and welcome material via email and WhatsApp.
  • Class recordings and weekly worksheets are shared throughout the course.

If you do not receive your enrolment confirmation within 24 working hours of payment, please contact us immediately at slacademy13@gmail.com.

2. Cancellation by the student

You may cancel your enrolment at any time by writing to us at slacademy13@gmail.com. Your refund eligibility depends on when you cancel:

When you cancel Refund
Before the batch starts 100% refund
Within 48 hours of the first class 100% refund (full no-questions-asked refund window)
Between day 3 and day 14 of the batch 50% refund
After day 14 of the batch No refund - we will however accommodate transfer to a future batch on a case-by-case basis

Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days via the same payment method used for the original transaction. Razorpay processing fees are not refundable.

3. Cancellation by us

If we cancel a batch (for example, due to insufficient enrolment, teacher unavailability or force majeure), you can choose to either:

  • Receive a 100% refund, OR
  • Move to the next available batch with the same fee.

4. Course transfer

If your circumstances change, you may transfer your seat to a future batch (within 12 months) once, free of charge, provided you write to us at least 3 days before your current batch starts. Subsequent transfers attract a small administrative fee.

5. Non-refundable items

The following are non-refundable in any case:

  • Razorpay / payment gateway processing fees on a fully utilised batch.
  • Digital downloads (vocabulary booklets, PDFs, certificates) once delivered.
  • Sessions already attended in batches where partial refunds apply (we deduct a pro-rated session value).

6. How to request a refund

Email slacademy13@gmail.com with:

  • Your full name and registered phone number,
  • The course / batch name,
  • The Razorpay payment ID (visible on the receipt email),
  • A short reason for cancellation - this helps us improve.

You will receive an acknowledgement within 2 working days and a final decision within 7 working days.

7. Chargebacks

We are a small academy; please reach out to us directly before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We respond fast and almost every issue can be resolved over a single email or call.
